Intervista del mercoledì-Wednesday interview, Acire

This week interview with Acire and her beautiful paintings,  from USA Tell us a bit about yourself and your shop.   I am a wife and a mother of three children. I have dabbled in painting my whole life. I recently have the opportunity to live in Australia which is one of the most wonderful countries in the world. Before leaving my husband and I took a day to try to pick out a large piece of Aboriginal art to purchase. We had some small items but I wanted something significant. I fell in love with one painting and asked my husband what he thought about buying it. He said he would love to buy it for me but I wouldn’t have a car when we moved back to the United States as it was almost $20,000! We had a good laugh and I started thinking, I could paint that and while it wouldn’t be an original from Australia it would be free.   On New Year’s Eve I had no plans (how exciting am I?) so I thought I would paint a little bit. I hadn’t painted in some time and it was so much fun and rela

Orecchini Sakura, Sakura earrings

I alway liked the Japanese aesthetic and I have a little interest for Oriental folklore and culture. I know little the Japanese culture, but I understand that is extremely large and sophisticated. For example, do you know that in Japan there is day for celebrating the eldery, one dedicated to young boys, one to young girls,
