DIY Navajo gift wrapping

ENG Hello! Do you like navajo style? I do! And I love to think up gift wrappings! When I have to make a gift to a friend I have a lot of  fun making personalized wrappings and greeting cards. It’s for that reason that I’m going to start a DIY gift wrapping serie! I want to share my ideas with you! The first tutorial of the serie is the navajo…have fun!

You’ll need:

White wrapping paper - Markers - Scissors - Cutter - Scotch tape – Ruler – Embroidery threads.

The tip: choose a color palette, 5-6 matching colors (don’t choose them randomly!). You can get inspirations looking at DesignSeeds.

1-With the cutter get a rectangle of the right size, sign some parallel guide lines with the ruler and start drawing triangles, dots, dashes…it’s the the most enjoyable step!

2-Make a loooong braid with the embroidery threds.  Now you have just to wrap up the box, turn the braid around and close with a bow.

DONE! Do you like it?

ITA Ciao! Vi piace lo style navajo? A me si!

Fatto! Vi piace?

Liebster Awards, Thank you!

Recently I received three Liebster Awards...Thank so much to: companyfortytwo.blogspot.it b-by-bel.blogspot.it pharrawayliving.blogspot.it What is the Liebster Award?  The Liebster Award's origins are pretty much a mystery. Bloggers nominate other bloggers that have 200 or less followers. “Liebster” is German for “favorite,” so this is kind of like the “favorite blog award.” It's basically a "Hey, that's a sweet little blog you've got there. Here's an award!" You can't just accept the award. You have to play by the (ever changing) rules and pay it forward. Then you can put the award on your blog for all to see.  Rules of the Liebster Award:  1. List 11 facts about yourself.  2. Answer the 11 questions given to you. 3. Ask 11 new questions for the bloggers you nominate for the award. 4. Choose 11 bloggers with 200 or less followers to nominate.  5. Go to each bloggers page and let them know about the award.  ...
