Sono tornata!

Finalmente riesco a mostrarvi qualche nuovo oggetto! Qui il caldo è insopportabile e il lavoro procede lentamente, sto cercando di recuperare le energie e di pianificare gli impegni e gli obiettivi da raggiungere nei prossimi mesi. La pausa estiva serve anche a questo!

Oggi vi mostro un'anteprima della collezione dei segnalibri, oggetti a qui sono affezionata.

Sono un'amante della lettura, negli anni passati ero un'assidua frequentatrice dalla biblioteca comunale. Mi sfugge il titolo del primo libro che presi in prestito, raccontava di un ragazzino che veniva accompagnato dalle sirene a visitare la loro città...mi piacque tantissimo. Avevo circa 12 anni e da quel momento mi lasciai travolgere dalle storie stampate sui libri, la mia fantasia veniva incredibilmente stimolata, le immagini nate dalla lettura erano così dettagliate che le confondevo con quelle viste in TV o nei fumetti.

Ora vado in biblioteca raramente, ho poco tempo per leggere e ciò che mi interessa posso acquistarlo in libreria o su Amazon. Il mio sogno è avere una biblioteca personale vasta e completa, sempre a portata di mano.

Ma ora basta con le divagazioni e via con il work-in-progress!

I back!
Finally I can to show you some of  last works! Here it's too hot and work is progressing slowly, I'm recover energy and I'm planning commitments and goals for next months. The summer break is also because this!

Today I'm showing to you a preview of my bookmarks collection, objects that I love.
I'm a lover of reading, during past years I was a frequent visitor to the town library. I don't remember the title of the first book I took, it was about a boy accompained by mermaids in the mermaid city...I loved it so much! I was about 12 years old and from that moment I became fond books, my imagination was incredibly stimulated, pictures born in my mind reading stories were so detailed that I confused them with those I saw in TV or in comics.
Now I go rarely to the town library. I have few time to read and I buy books in shops or on Amazon. My dream is to have a personal and wide library.
But stop  digressions, it's time to show the work-in-progress!

Per fare questi segnalibri ho usato gli abbassalingua in legno. La parte più divertente è l'elemento in argilla polimerica che si fonde con la decorazione sulla parte in legno.

 To made these bookmarks I used wooden tongue depressors. The funniest part is the polymer clay elemnt that merges with the wood.
