Tempo fa acquistai un piccolo scrigno di legno con la cerniera a forma di conchiglia. E' rimasto molti mesi nell'armadio, fino a quando non ho trovato l'idea per una decorazione  che lo valorizzasse abbastanza.
Visto che negli ultimi tempi sono andata in fissa con i laghetti zen ho deciso di fare un piccolo scrigno acquatico.

Some time ago I purchased a little wood box with a closure shell-shaped.  It remained in the closed for many months untill  I found an idea that would enhance it. Lately i like the koi ponds and I decided to make a little box inspired by them!

Portagioie in legno e argilla polimerica-Jewelry box made with wood and polymer clay

Ho steso una base color turchese e poi ho decorato con disegni astratti blu,bianco e oro, tutto con colori acrili.

La parte dipinta rappresenta il movimento dell'acqua.

I paited the base with turquoise acylic color then I decorated with blue, white and gold abstract patterns that represent the moviment of the water.

I quattro pesciolini e la ninfea sono modellati a mano in Premo! e rifiniti con pigmenti metallizzati e vernice lucidante. Le goccioline in vetro mi sembravano perfette per questo tema  e ne ho aggiunte un bel po'!

The four fishes and the waterlily are hand modeled with Premo! and finished with metalized mica and gloss varnish. The glass drops was perfect for this subject and I added a lot of them!

 I "koi pond" nascono per infondere pace e rilassamento a chi li ammira, mi è sembrato carino dipingere l'ideogramma giapponese che rappresenta la pace

Koi ponds are born to instill peace and relax to those who admire them and I thought it was nice to paint the Japanese ideogram that represent "peace".

 Le misure dello scrigno sono 9x5.5x5.8h. E' piccolo e può essere posto su una mensola o un mobile senza dare ingombro. Può essere usato come semplice decorazione o come portagioie. Un'idea è usarlo come confezione di lusso per un gioiello da regalare, sarebbe un dono davvero speciale!

The box measure 3.55"x2.16"x2.28"h . Is small and you can put it on a shelf or on other without cluttering. You can use it as simple decoration or as jewelry box. An idea is to use it as a luxury packaging for jewel to give away! Would be a special gift!
